SDI Xylene is a high-purity, industrial-grade aromatic solvent designed for concrete surface preparation, thinning, and cleaning applications. This strong, slow-evaporating solvent effectively dissolves and removes existing sealers, adhesives, oils, and contaminants while preparing surfaces for new coatings.

- Coverage Highly variable depending on surface porosity, contamination level, and application method. Typically used as needed for scrubbing or rolling until the surface is clean (no fixed coverage rate; often applied at approx. 200 sq ft/gallon for sealer reactivation/wash).
- Product Use Case Ideal for cleaning and preparing concrete floors before applying stains, dyes, sealers, or coatings. Also used to soften and reactivate existing acrylic sealers or to remove stubborn contaminants. Solvent-based flammable product – Recommended for outdoor use only or in well-ventilated areas with proper safety precautions. Use with extreme caution indoors due to high flammability and strong vapors.
- Method of Application Apply by pouring into a solvent-resistant tray and rolling with a short-nap solvent-safe roller, or scrub with a stiff brush/broom. Work in small sections. Allow to dwell as needed to soften material, then wipe or mop up residue and let fully evaporate. Always ensure excellent ventilation and keep away from open flames, sparks, or ignition sources.
